How we started

Page Sequoiacore Mining Review began when two field technicians — former datacenter HVAC contractors — noticed mining operators in Bundang were replacing hash boards while the real failure mode was recirculated exhaust air. In 2018 we incorporated to offer independent cooling-path documentation rather than hardware resale or pool brokerage.

Our first engagements were private farms in Gyeonggi running early ASIC generations above 0.05 PH/s per hall. Word spread through co-location managers who needed third-party reports before insurer renewals. By 2021 we added thermal imaging and airflow consultation as facilities scaled past single-hall layouts.

What we do today

We remain a review and assessment practice, not a miner and not a repair shop. Technicians visit operating facilities, trace heat paths, and deliver written reports operators can hand to contractors, insurers, or internal ops teams. We do not sell rigs, host hashrate, or operate mining pools.

Our team

  • Jae-sung Ryu — Lead thermal analyst. Fifteen years in commercial chiller and datacenter airflow work before focusing on ASIC farms.
  • Eun-ji Han — Field photographer and report editor. Documents rack-level conditions with annotated imagery tied to measurement tables.
  • Tae-woo Lim — Liquid cooling specialist. Reviews immersion loops, dry coolers, and parallel branch balance on water-cooled deployments.

Working approach

We schedule visits around your production shifts. Racks stay online unless a safe isolation window exists for shroud removal. Measurements use calibrated sensors; IR cameras are drift-checked before each field week.

Reports use plain language first, with technical appendices for facilities leads. We rank findings by hash-rate stability risk, not by cheapest fix.

Relationship to clients

Most clients are repeat operators who book annual reviews before summer intake temperatures rise. Co-location halls often contract us for tenant onboarding checks. We decline engagements where the facility owner refuses access to exhaust plenums or coolant manifolds — incomplete paths produce incomplete reports.

Values

  • Evidence over claims — Manufacturer fan curves are compared to what we measure on your floor.
  • Operator safety — We do not bypass interlocks or recommend running hardware outside nameplate thermal limits.
  • Regional presence — Based in Seongnam with regular travel across South Korea; we understand local power scheduling and seasonal humidity patterns affecting inlet conditions.
